Yana pulled in to rock out with some boogie woogie, and then Granite Planet closed out the evening salting their set with some Sex Pistols, Ian Dury and the Blockheads, and the Proclaimers no doubt put forward by their "limey"bass player. By the end of the evening there was some truly astonishing dancing with everyone on their feet....Hope they come again! This is an ideal situation to "give it a try"....if you haven't performed for a while and want some backup , or want to try out some new material, toss your inhibitions and join us....the audience is very appreciative. arrival of Ray and his fab drumkit and drumming....Ray is imminently flexible and accompanied a variety of players in numerous styles and generously let Ben sub on a number of tunes. Joe joined in on bass and piano together with the guitars of Steve and Henri. Lots of fun tunes with Harmonica Mike blowing on many giving a gravelly edge and soul. Jana flew in to take over the piano with some dazzling boogie woogie and blues and Rich followed to do some cool solo work....the evening carried on in this vein with players joining in and out of their favorite songs, not to mention some serious jamming...... Next week, Panet Granite are dropping down from NH to play a set to be followed by an evening of participation by all comers!
